For the past two years, my work has focused on engaging communities and audiences. I am currently the Audience Engagement Manager for CalMatters, where I connect Californians to the policy and politics information they need to live their lives.

 

During my past work at PolitiFact as the Audience Engagement Producer, I used community and audience engagement strategies to ensure our work helps as many people as possible. I monitored our accounts for community questions and tips, led research efforts focused on engagement, and helped run community-geared events. 

I was also an engagement fellow at The Texas Tribune, where I wrote explainers, helped build and run our main audience callout, and covered live discussions for the website.
